On the morning of June 1, 2025, gas distribution and trading units in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces announced that the gas price in June 2025 would decrease by VND 5,000/cylinder compared to May 2025.

This price will be applied from 7:30 a.m. on June 1, 2025, and the retail price to consumers in the southern region will fluctuate at VND 460,400/12kg cylinder.

According to gas distribution and trading units, the reason for the gas price decrease of VND 5,000/cylinder compared to May 2025 is because the average world gas price (CP) in June 2025 was just announced at USD 585.00/ton, down USD 15/ton.
