On the morning of May 1, 2025, the The gas distribution and trading unit in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces has announced that the gas price in May 2025 will remain the same as in April 2025.

This price will be applied from 7:30 a.m. on May 1, 2025, and the retail price to consumers in the southern region will fluctuate at 465,400 VND/12kg cylinder.

According to the gas distribution and trading units, the reason why the gas price has not changed compared to April 2025 is because the average world gas price (CP) in May 2025 has just been announced at 600.00 USD/ton, down 10 USD/ton and the VND/USD exchange rate has increased sharply.
