On the morning of February 1, 2025, the The gas distribution and trading unit in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces has announced that the gas price in February 2025 will increase by 250 VND/kg, equivalent to 3,000 VND/12kg cylinder compared to January 2025.

This price will be applied from 7:30 a.m. on February 1, 2025, and the retail price to consumers in the southern region will fluctuate at 444,900 VND/12kg cylinder.

According to the gas distribution and trading units, the reason for the change in gas prices compared to January 2025 is because the average world gas price (CP) in February 2025 has just been announced at 630 USD/ton, an increase of 10 USD/ton.
